Climate Policy

My policy work covers key climate issues including physical climate risk, carbon markets, resilience finance, and corporate climate risk-assessment practices. I have experience engaging in rulemaking and public processes spanning multiple federal regulatory agencies and voluntary climate initiatives including the UN Race to Zero and ISO Net Zero Principles.

I focus on connecting the dots between in-depth analytical research and policy strategy. My work has informed comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Federal Insurance Office (FIO), among others.

Featured Project: Markets at Risk

Located at The Brookings Institution, Markets at Risk focused on the physical climate risks facing US financial markets. As the primary project manager and staff researcher, I developed and managed workstreams across researchers, financial experts, and policymakers to achieve the project’s impact goals. Our research was featured in national publications including the New York Times, and USA Today, and has been cited in regulatory rulemaking.
